IV Infusion Therapy in South Florida

Physician-supervised IV therapy - from iron infusions for documented deficiency to vitamin and hydration support. Every infusion starts with a medical evaluation, is dosed by your physician, and is monitored by our clinical team. Not a drip bar.

Inside your infusion

What's in the drip?

No mystery menu. Every infusion here is built from five building blocks, recommended by your provider and adjusted to your health. Tap one to see what is inside and why it comes up.

Hydration and electrolytes

The foundation

  • Sterile saline
  • Electrolytes (sodium, potassium)

The base of every infusion. Sterile fluid restores hydration directly, and electrolytes are the minerals your body uses to regulate fluid balance, muscle, and nerve function.

Comes up when you are run down, recovering from a bug, or simply behind on fluids. Your provider decides whether it fits your situation.

Vitamin and nutrient blends

Reviewed against your history

  • B-complex
  • Vitamin C
  • Magnesium

B-complex vitamins support normal energy metabolism. Vitamin C is an antioxidant that supports normal immune function. Magnesium takes part in hundreds of processes, including normal muscle and nerve function.

Suggested when your history or labs point to a gap, or as part of a wellness plan you review together.

Immune support formulas

Built for you, not off a board

  • Vitamin C
  • B-complex
  • Magnesium

Formulas built around nutrients with established roles in normal immune function. There is no fixed recipe on a menu board here. The mix is chosen after your history is reviewed.

Common during cold and flu season or recovery periods, once your provider agrees it makes sense for you.

Iron infusion

Medical treatment, labs first

  • IV iron
  • Lab-confirmed

Iron infusions are medical treatment, not wellness. Iron is given for diagnosed iron-deficiency anemia. Our in-house lab can run the iron studies first, and the results live in your regular medical record.

Recommended only with a diagnosis and lab confirmation.

Custom mix

Tailored to your health

  • Your history
  • Your labs
  • Provider-tailored

Because this is a physician's office and not a storefront, your infusion can be adjusted to your health instead of picked off a fixed menu. The ingredients come from the same reviewed building blocks above.

Used when your provider thinks a tailored blend fits you better than a standard one.

Every formula starts with a review of your health history and medications. No walk-in menu, no guesswork.

IV therapy, in plain English

An infusion delivers fluids, vitamins, or medication directly into your bloodstream, so absorption is fast and complete. That is exactly why it should be treated as medical care: the same direct route that makes it effective also means the dose, the formulation, and your reaction to it need a physician's judgment.

At Personal Physician Care, IV therapy is part of your medical record and your care plan. Your physician reviews your history and labs first, decides whether an infusion makes sense, chooses what goes in it, and follows up on how you respond.

Is this right for you?

Worth a conversation if you have documented iron deficiency, lab-confirmed nutrient deficiencies, trouble absorbing oral supplements, or a physician recommendation for infusion therapy. It can also fit patients who want structured, medically supervised vitamin or hydration support rather than a walk-in drip menu.

Who this is not for

IV therapy is not a shortcut around sleep, nutrition, or treatment of an underlying condition, and it is not administered without an evaluation. If your symptoms point to something that needs diagnosis first - fatigue, weakness, dizziness - we start with the workup, not the IV bag.

What it looks like

1

Evaluation

A physician reviews your history, symptoms, and medications. Labs are drawn in-house when they are needed - iron infusions always require lab confirmation first.

2

Your plan

Your physician chooses the formulation, dose, and schedule, and explains what each infusion is meant to do and how response will be measured.

3

Infusion visit

Sessions typically run 45 to 90 minutes depending on the infusion. You are monitored by our clinical team the entire time.

4

Follow-up

Response is checked with follow-up visits or repeat labs where indicated, and the plan is adjusted. Nothing runs on autopilot.

IV therapy questions, answered

What is IV infusion therapy at Personal Physician Care?+
IV infusion therapy at Personal Physician Care is the physician-supervised delivery of fluids, vitamins, nutrients, or medications such as iron directly into the bloodstream at our South Florida offices. Every infusion at Personal Physician Care begins with a medical evaluation and is dosed and monitored by our clinical team.
What kinds of infusions does Personal Physician Care offer?+
Personal Physician Care offers iron infusions for lab-confirmed deficiency, tailored vitamin and nutrient infusions, hydration support when medically appropriate, and administration of prescribed infusion medications. The specific formulation is chosen by a Personal Physician Care physician after an evaluation.
Do I need lab work before an infusion?+
Lab work is required before iron infusions at Personal Physician Care, and it is recommended before most vitamin or nutrient infusions so the formulation matches a real need. Labs are drawn in-house at Personal Physician Care, so results and treatment stay in one place.
How long does an infusion appointment take?+
Most infusion appointments at Personal Physician Care run 45 to 90 minutes depending on the formulation, and patients are monitored by the clinical team for the entire session. Your physician's office confirms the expected duration when your plan is set.
How is this different from an IV drip bar?+
Personal Physician Care treats IV therapy as medical care: a physician reviews your history and labs, decides whether an infusion is appropriate, chooses the dose and formulation, and follows your response over time. Drip-bar menus without medical evaluation do not provide that supervision.
Is IV infusion therapy covered by insurance?+
Medically indicated infusions, such as iron for documented deficiency, are often covered by insurance, while elective wellness infusions are typically paid out of pocket. The Personal Physician Care team verifies your coverage before any treatment is scheduled.
