Wellness & Self-Pay Services in South Florida

For people who plan to stay strong, sharp, and active for decades - and who'd rather have a physician who knows their chart guiding the plan than a med spa guessing at it.

What is physician-supervised wellness?

A healthy couple walking and talking on a waterfront path in South Florida

Physician-supervised wellness at Personal Physician Care means services like medical weight loss, hormone therapy, IV therapy, and aesthetics are planned and overseen by the same physicians who manage your primary care - not a separate med spa working from a questionnaire. Every plan starts from your actual chart, labs, and history.

Physician oversight
Every program is physician-directed and delivered within our medical practice - never driven by an online questionnaire or algorithm alone.
Labs at every office
Bloodwork and monitoring happen here, so treatment is guided by real data.
Your whole health in context
Every treatment is checked against your medications, conditions, and history.
Real follow-up
The same practice is here next month and next year, when something needs adjusting.

One physician stands behind every program.

Every wellness service here starts with a physician visit and lives in your medical record.

Meet the whole team

See your numbers. Then use them.

Most diet advice guesses. A continuous glucose monitor doesn’t - it tracks your glucose every few minutes and shows how your body actually responds to food. Here’s how we turn that data into a nutrition plan built on your numbers, with your physician.

Is this right for you?

Check whatever sounds like you. Nothing is sent anywhere - this stays on your device.

I'd rather get wellness treatments from physicians who know my full history
I want my labs and follow-up in the same place as my primary care
I've been offered wellness treatments elsewhere without much medical oversight
I want one practice coordinating my weight, hormones, and overall health

Regenerative therapy

PRP: platelet-rich plasma, prepared and given here

PRP starts with a small sample of your own blood, concentrated in the office and placed by a physician. At PPC it is offered for two purposes: joint and tendon care, and hair restoration.

Physician giving a PRP knee injection to a patient at Personal Physician Care
Joint and tendon PRP, performed by a physician in the office.
Physician consulting a patient about PRP hair restoration at Personal Physician Care
Hair restoration starts with an honest consult.

Joint & tendon care

For some patients with joint or tendon complaints - knee, shoulder, elbow, and similar - PRP can be one option alongside diagnosis, imaging, physical therapy, and medication. It is not the right answer for every ache, and your physician will tell you plainly when it is not. Whether it fits depends on your exam and imaging.

Hair restoration

For patients with thinning hair, a series of PRP sessions may be recommended to support hair density. Results vary from person to person and build over months, not days. It starts with a consult: your physician looks at your pattern of hair loss and tells you honestly whether PRP is worth trying in your case.

What to expect: a blood draw in the office, on-site preparation, and physician-placed injections. Most patients describe a day or two of soreness at the site. Everything happens inside the practice.

PRP questions, answered

Does PRP really work?+
The evidence is mixed and depends on the condition being treated. We recommend PRP selectively - only when your exam suggests a reasonable chance of benefit - and we set expectations before you spend anything.
How many sessions will I need?+
Joint and tendon care usually involves a short series; hair restoration is typically a monthly series at first, then maintenance. Your plan is set at the consult, not sold as a package before anyone has examined you.
Is PRP covered by insurance?+
PRP is generally a self-pay service - most insurance plans do not cover it. We quote the full cost before you commit, so there are no surprises.
Is PRP safe?+
PRP uses your own blood, so reactions are uncommon. The risks are those of any injection: soreness, bruising, and rarely infection. Every PRP procedure at PPC is performed by a physician.

Wondering whether PRP fits your case? Tell us your goal and a physician will give you a straight answer.

Common questions

Are these services covered by insurance?+
Most services on this page are self-pay, and we go over pricing before anything starts. Some related visits and lab work may be covered by your plan - call and we will check.
Do I have to be a Personal Physician Care patient?+
No. But every service starts with a physician visit, so care is based on your real history - not an online questionnaire.
How is this different from a med spa or online clinic?+
A med spa sells a treatment; an online clinic ships a prescription. Here, your physician knows your history, your labs are drawn at your PPC office, and the same practice stands behind every recommendation.
Where do I start?+
Call your nearest office or send the inquiry form on this page. Tell us your goal and we will point you to the right care.
