Join our expanding primary care group in Delray Beach! We seek an experienced Medical Assistant to deliver exceptional patient service, while working independently and collaboratively. As a Medical Assistant, you'll serve as an educator, healthcare resource, consultant, and patient advocate.
As a Medical Assistant, you'll communicate with patients during visits and promptly handle phone calls and emails. Your responsibilities include providing routine medical services, coordinating appointments and tests at off-site facilities, and maintaining accurate patient records. You'll assist with medical assessments, report quality management issues, and perform other assigned duties as needed.
The ideal candidate should have at least 2 years of medical assistant experience with proficiency in phlebotomy, injections, and vitals. Strong computer skills, including EMR (preferably eMedical Practice Knowledge), are required. We are looking for a canidate with knowledge of medications, Surescripts, MRA coding, HEDIS, Wellness Visits, and Meaningful Use is a plus. Bilingual proficiency in Spanish is desirable.
