What is the professional background of Dr. Danielle Neuman?

Over a decade ago, Dr. Neuman began her journey in the medical field with global service work. She was a volunteer for a Nicaragua Medical Mission and a clinical volunteer in Israel at Tel Aviv Sourasky Medical Center and Hadassah Medical Center. She was also on the Executive Board as a Physician Liason for the American Medical Women’s Association, dedicated to the advancement of women in medicine, promoting women’s health, and improving the professional development of its members.

What is the educational background of Dr. Danielle Neuman?

De. Neuman’s impressive education shows her continuous intellectual curiosity in medicine. She graduated Magna Cum Laude with a degree in Biomedical Engineering from the University of Miami which offered insight to help provide the most cost-effective, value-based medicine. After Business school, she received her Doctor of Medicine from the University of Miami Miller School of Medicine and completed her Internal Medicine Residency at Jackson Memorial Hospital at the University of Miami. During her residency, her expertise led to publication as a co-author of the book “Behavioral Diabetes- Social-Ecological Perspectives for Pediatric and Adult Populations.”

To further her studies, Dr. Danielle Neuman pursued a fellowship in Diabetes and Metabolism in the Division of Endocrinology at the New York University Langone Health in New York City. During her fellowship, she managed the curriculum as the Direct of the Thyroid Conference at the NYU Division of Endocrinology and presented at Grand Grounds for the entire endocrine division. Dr. Neuman chose endocrinology because it involves dealing with and treating the complexity of hormones in the body, affecting multiple hormones at a time. Because of the long-term nature of the endocrinological treatment, this aligns with her passion for forming meaningful care relationships with patients.

Her recent experience working with patients at Jackson Memorial Hospital and University of Miami Hospital in Miami, Bellevue Hospital and NYU Langone Hospital in New York, and the Veteran Affairs Hospitals in both states have enhanced Dr. Neuman’s expertise in caring for patients of many different medical, cultural and socioeconomic backgrounds.
